The proposal for the Sara Hildén Art Museum wants to be the new cultural axis for the city of Tempere.

In our vision the Sara Hildén Art Museum is an organism that aims to be a new cultural pole for the city of Tempere. The museum is raised above the street generating a public space able to connect the urban area with the park behind it.

This floating structure is wrapped with a polycarbonate skin. The sunlight filtered by the particles of polycarbonate will smoothly illuminate the art pieces empathising the details. The natural light turns the art pieces the real actors of the exposition while during the night the museum, through his glowing light, became the main actor of the new cultural pole of Tempere.
