Ephemeral pavilion, exploring material circularity.
The project aims to approach the concept of circularity by using easily available materials and proposing an ephemeral intervention that minimizes the environmental impact.
We plan to use stone modules obtained from the nearest quarry, ensuring their reintegration once the intervention is completed. In addition, we propose reusing metal waste to create the roof structure, which can be recycled once the pavilion is dismantled.
The graphic content we have submitted for the competition was based on a 1.25 scale model built using Markina black marble blocks and steel sheets. We deliberately chose these materials to maintain consistency with the proposed construction materials for the real pavilion.
