Hide
Create the surprise of the unknown. A veil is created that hides from us what is behind it. The subsequent surprise will be greater.
Prepare
The new building becomes a filter, a preparation for the visit of the crypt. The atmosphere, the materials, the entry of light set the tone.
Travel
The pavilion appears as a series of 6 walls. The form disintegrates; the building becomes a tour.
Unify
There are two tasks entrusted, defining the complex’s enclosure and the construction of the entrance pavilion. The project must be a whole, in form and matter. It is not a specific action.
Materiality
The plastic capacity of the brick is exploited by playing with different surfaces, colors, textures …
